Outgoing President Joe Biden is facing criticism for having spent 40 percent of his presidency on vacation.
The president has spent exactly 570 days on vacation, according to a “Fox & Friends” report that aired Friday.
Watch the report below:
“Only one person gets to be president,” co-host Joey Jones noted. “It is a grueling job. It demands more of you than most people. You can’t compare the job of president to any other occupation.”
“And if you’re going to go and ask for it, beg for it, you got to be able to do it. And that 40 percent on vacation tells me he might not have been up for that job,” he added.
Co-cost Katie Pavlich responded by outlining the White House’s argument.
“The White House argues the president can work from anywhere, so if he’s at his beach house in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, then he has everything he needs,” she said.
The problem, she continued, is the timing. While Biden’s current vacation is OK, he’s had a confirmed habit of going on vacation right as the rest of the world is blowing up with drama.
“This image of him lying on the beach — a lot of these things happened when there were major things happening in the world,” she said. “Like our troops coming under fire in the Middle East, for example, [and] wars breaking out all over the place.”
“Over the course of his four years, the timing of these vacations also was a big problem, and the optics of it certainly didn’t help him when it came to trying to run for re-election,” she added.
Biden’s vacation habits have also caught the attention of Sky News, whose hosts took him to task for vacationing right now instead of just waiting for his presidency to end in a matter of days.
Listen:
“You’d think that he, you know, would wait a couple of weeks until he’s no longer the president, but he doesn’t want to miss an opportunity to have some sun, have a little rest,” one co-host said. “We know his bedtime is pretty early.”
“It comes as no surprise world leaders are already responding to the strength of Donald Trump and essentially treating him like he’s already president. And Biden’s just making sure that he and his family are getting well-looked after and having a good rest,” she added.
Another co-host went on to compare Biden to a corpse.
“You know, there’s this great movie, ‘The Corpse Bride.’ He’s the corpse president, and he has been for the last four years,” she said. “And it’s no surprise that that’s continuing. But I do think that, as more tell-all books about the Biden Administration come out in the coming years, we’ll know the full scale of the cover-up.”
“But I think the way that his advisors and the left-wing media colluded to cover up the fact that America was being run by a senile, incapacitated half-dead man is truly going to go down as one of the worst political scandals in American history,” she added.
The fiercest criticism came from network host Joe Hildebrand.
“He’s taking more than a holiday, he’s taking the piss,” he said of Biden before going on to talk about the president’s “rudderless” administration.

This is ABSURD.

“The White House has been so rudderless. And strangely enough, the only authority that Biden really seemed to put his presidential stamp on more than anything else … was that he would run for president again in 2024,” Hildebrand said.
While the president has always been in love with vacations, his love for vacations has been even more pronounced ever since he was effectively bullied out of the 2024 presidential election.
Recall that after his disastrous summer debate with former President Donald Trump, the Democrat Party’s top leaders all began clamoring for Biden to drop out of the presidential race and let Vice President Harris take his stead. At first, the president resisted, but the pressure eventually became too much for him.
The White House had, for its part, defended the president’s incessant vacationing.
“The president is on vacation, but you can never unplug from a job like that, nor does he try to,” National Security Council spokesperson John Kirby said back in August. “He’s very much in command.”
