Struggling to win over voters on the issues, the liberal ladies of ABC’s The View often resorted to just trying to scare Americans into voting for Democrats. Ironically enough, it was the very thing they were accusing President-elect Trump and Republicans of doing for their 2024 presidential election strategy.
The hypocrisy and fear mongering was abound in 2024 as they made wild accusations of Republicans wanting to bring back slavery, everyone will lose their rights, and had a “very dark vision” for America filled with icky traditional values. They also claimed Trump had a hit list with them on it, that he was going to order the Air Force to bomb their studio, and that he would redistribute white spouses from interracial marriages.
Presented here is chronological order are The Views most terrifying Trump predictions of 2024
ABC Disinformers: Alito Appointed By Trump, GOP Wants ‘Slavery Back’
In addition to Joy Behar falsely claiming that U.S. Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito “was appointed by Trump,” when in reality he was appointed by President George W. Bush, moderator Whoopi Goldberg claimed Trump and Republicans were trying to bring back slavery via the court:
GOLDBERG: Take a look at the things that they’re rolling back. Remember I said ages ago, you know, in their minds they want to bring slavery back. They’re okay with it because –You see, things change. One of the good things about the Supreme Court is you can fight to make sure you make stuff better. You don’t generally fight to make stuff worse.
SUNNY HOSTIN: Or to roll back.
GOLDBERG: Or to roll back. And to me, if you’re okay rolling that back when things were not even a state, when we had no say.
The View & Jill Biden: ‘We Will Lose All of Our Rights’ If GOP Get Elected!
In May, when her husband was still able to get away with lying to the nation about how bad his mental state had deteriorated, First Lady Jill Biden joined The View to declare that Republicans shouldn’t be allowed to put justices on the U.S. Supreme Court because they will take everyone’s rights away.
Of course, there was resounding agreement from the cast (Click “expand”):
BIDEN: But we cannot take things for granted because they can – And think of the Supreme Court, for God’s sake, talk about things getting worse. Can you imagine if we put any more Republicans on the Supreme Court?
HOSTIN: No, no.
BEHAR: We’re finished!
BIDEN: We will lose all of our rights.
GOLDBERG: So, we’re talking about women’s rights, gay rights, I mean, we will lose our rights and freedoms! Voting rights!
BIDEN: Voting rights, yes!
GOLDBERG: Voting rights. All of this is up at stake.
Rachel Maddow & The View Fearmongering with Fake Trump Hit List
In June, The View played host to far-left MSNBC host Rachel Maddow. She and Beahr teamed up to suggest that her would take President Nxon’s ‘enemies list’ and take it to the next level, with violence:
BEHAR: Well remember when Nixon had an enemy’s list, that was a proud moment when they were on the enemies list. That was a proud moment for a lot of people if they made it onto the enemies list. Maybe we have to turn it around like that.
MADDOW: I mean I don’t – if he decides to go after you or me or anybody who is well-known, you know, we have resources, we will likely be fine, but I think there’s a pattern where he picks out individual people and effectively terrorizes them. I mean, there’s Stormy Daniels wearing a bulletproof vest to get into the courthouse.
BEHAR: Once you have political violence you have fascism following that. So you’ve characterized some of Trump’s rhetoric as being pornographically violent.
‘Blueprint for a Fascist Regime’: The View Discovers Project 2025
In the middle of the summer when the liberal media were really clutching their pearls over Project 2025, Sunny Hostin called it “a very dar, dark vision of what America could look like and would look like under a Trump administration.”
Behar called it the “far-right plan for destroying democracy that Trump’s team wants to implement on day one.” And no liberal fear mongering screed would be complete without cries of facism:
BEHAR: And if you think they won’t do it, just think about the Supreme Court. They just said Trump has immunity. They’re dismantling a lot of stuff about the environment already. God knows what else they’ll come up with in the Supreme Court, so don’t think thats [sic] this won’t happen. It’s the blueprint for a fascist regime and what disturbs you the most about it, pray tell?
The View Decries Trump Telling Christians to Vote for Him, Fearmonger
According to The View, there was no good reason for Trump to tell Christians to vote for him and openly suggested that courting them with policies meant doom for the country. They kicked off their doom session by clutching their pearls and predicting the worst outcomes for America if Christians supported Trump en masse:
GOLDBERG: Okay. Let’s talk about what that was. She made sense. What was he talking about? Is he saying, no one ever has to vote after they vote for him? What is he — help me. What is going on?
ALYSSA FARAH GRIFFIN: There’s two interpretations. He’s either saying, ‘you won’t have to vote again because I’m going to say there and there’s not going to be another election.’ That’s one interpretation. The other is, ‘Dear Christians, I’m going to remake this nation in such a way that it will embrace, you know, the laws will reflect your beliefs and you won’t need to vote because it’s taken care of.’ Either, I think, should be concerning.
SARA HAINES: Very scary…
ABC: GOP’s ‘Very Dark Vision’ and ‘Ominous’ Traditional Values
Hostin kicked off August with more talk of the “ominous” and “very dark vision” for America Trump supposedly posed. According to her and her alone, Trump had plans for “getting rid of education;” yup, no more learning at all!
“It’s a very dark vision of America and they’re trying now to say, we didn’t have anything to do with it. Twenty-two people in his administration are part of it,” she warned.
According to Sara Haines “the scariest” thing about Republicans is that they get involved with local governments:
Well I think the scariest thing is Sunny you always talk about the long game of Republicans have historically done very well at laying the groundwork in local government. One thing that the Heritage Foundation president said after this stepping down of the 2025 person is “our collective efforts to build personal apparatus for policy makers of all levels, federal, state, and local will continue.”
Ana Navarro Claims Trump Is Not Human, ‘an Existential Threat to Humanity’
Even after the second attempt on Trump’s life, they were more than happy to keep piling on the incendiary fearmongering.
In early October, fake Republican Ana Navarro claimed Trump was not “a normal human being,” but rather an “existential threat to humanity”:
You can have policy differences with Kamala. You can have policy differences with Liz Cheney. We are not at a point right now to be talking about policy differences. This is not about economic difference. Because we are not running against a normal human being. We are running against Donald Trump who is an existential threat to humanity and democracy.
Behar Suggests Trump Will Bring Nazi Death Camps: ‘Look What Happened There’
In an interview with far-left ‘comedian’ Trevor Noah, Behar more claims that Trump was a Nazi.
After Noah compared current immigration discourse to that over previous rounds of Irish, Polish, and Italian immigration, Behar took it a step further and implied death camps might be coming soon to America, “Don’t forget Nazi Germany, the Jews were the scapegoat, and look what happened there.”
Insane Joy Behar Claims Trump Will Have ‘the Air Forces’ Bomb ‘The View’ Studio
There a pattern appearing that some of the more wild accusations stem from Behar.
With a few weeks to go until Election Day, Behar claimed Trump was going to order the “Air Forces” to bomb their studio and kill them:
So, if you say he’s going to be a dictator on day one, he wants to punish with the – with the air forces, whatever we have – the armed forces, he wants to punish people who disagree with him like people like us! Okay? And they say, ‘oh, he’s not going to do that.’ He’s going to take us out of NATO. ‘No, he’s not going to do that.’ So, it’s very hard for us to talk to these people, because they refuse to believe. And I guess they’re hearing it on Fox or elsewhere.
‘Nobody Gets a Pass!’ Mika Goes on Wild Anti-Trump Rant on ‘The View’
One of their more infamous falsehood came from Goldberg just days before the election. During an interview with far-left MSNBC host Mika Brzezinski, Goldberg claimed Trump was going to break up interracial marriages and redistribute the white spouse to someone else. “He’s going to say, ‘oh, you’re with a white guy, I’m going to keep you from being deported.’ No! He’s going to deport and you put the white guy with someone else! The man is out there!”
