Republican politician Nikki Haley slammed DOGE co-chair Vivek Ramaswamy on Thursday for having trashed American culture.

The right is currently embroiled in a war over H1-B visas, which are used by foreigners, particularly Indians, to earn entry into the U.S. and work for major corporations, usually at a cheaper rate than Americans.

Half of conservatives say President-elect Donald Trump should halt all H1-B imports, while the other half (the one represented by Ramaswamy) say that America needs more H1-B imports to fill jobs.

In a Twitter/X post published Thursday morning, Ramaswamy sought to explain why he supports more H1-B imports. But in explaining why, he ended up disparaging Americans as essentially lazy, unmotivated degenerates with an inferior culture.

According to Ramaswamy, the reason H1-B visa imports are needed is because “American culture has venerated mediocrity over excellence for way too long.”

“A culture that celebrates the prom queen over the math olympiad champ, or the jock over the valedictorian, will not produce the best engineers,” he wrote. “A culture that venerates Cory from ‘Boy Meets World,’ or Zach & Slater over Screech in ‘Saved by the Bell,’ or ‘Stefan’ over Steve Urkel in ‘Family Matters,’ will not produce the best engineers.”

He went on to argue that Americans must change their ways because their current culture “doesn’t cut it in a hyper-competitive global market for technical talent.”

“And if we pretend like it does, we’ll have our asses handed to us by China,” he added.

His post prompted MASSIVE backlash, with tens of thousands of enraged conservatives bashing him for trashing the culture of the most powerful, successful country on Earth.

Among his critics was Haley, who made it clear in a Twitter/X post of her own that “[t]here is nothing wrong with American workers or American culture.”

“All you have to do is look at the border and see how many want what we have. We should be investing and prioritizing in Americans, not foreign workers,” she explained.

Haley’s unexpected attack on Ramaswamy shocked conservatives, especially the ones accustomed to disagreeing with everything she says. After all, she has a history of saying the wrong thing.

“Insane that Nikki is better on this issue than Vivek,” one shocked conservative tweeted. “Immigration and birth rate is all that matters for a nation to persist. Vivek is worse on the issue that matters.”

“Nikki, that’s the first thing you have said that I like,” another conservative tweeted.

However, some conservatives pushed back, arguing that Ramaswamy had a valid point — as evidenced, they argued, by Trump’s own slogan: Make America Great Again.

“Really, Nikki? ‘Nothing wrong’ with American culture,” one enraged critic wrote. “MAGA: Make America Great Again. So if it’s so f–king great now, why are we trying to make it great Again?”

“You people are such transparent frauds. Anything to score political points. Yes Nikki, we all remember Vivek hurting your feewings by calling you out for the war profiteer you are. So why don’t you go watch some Kardashians and jam out to Wet Ass P-ssy and tell us how great contemporary American culture is,” they added.
