Beyonce’s Christmas Day half-time show earned the artist a staggering payday, as she was reportedly paid over $1 million per minute of her performance.
The Baltimore Ravens and Houston Texans celebrated Christmas Day by taking to NRG Stadium in Houston, Beyonce’s hometown. She joined the NFL party to perform a 13-minute halftime show flanked by the likes of Shaboozey, Post Malone, and her daughter Blue Ivy, netting her an impressive $20 million check from Netflix, according to social media.

While fans are celebrating Beyonce’s exploration of the country music genre, critics are not quite as excited. Barstool’s Dave Portnoy posted his take on X, saying that he has been “lost since Destiny’s Child.”

Others imply her foray into a new genre has left some of her fans behind, resulting in her new work not being as well known.
How much money is being blown on Beyonce singing a bunch of songs no one knows?
This is ridiculous.

However, it’s not just the reported paycheck that has people talking. As BizPac Review previously noted, Beyonce’s use of a “finger gun” during one of her songs is also under fire, as fans of the NFL joked that it violated the league’s ban on moves that could incite violence.
“There’s no place in professional football for that,” NFL executive Troy Vincent explained during an October meeting. “Think about where we are as a society. … I don’t think that’s where we are and what we’re trying to represent. We have a responsibility as professional athletes.”

X users weighed in on how much Beyonce got paid to perform:
Does she have any fans? It’s not 2003 I haven’t listened or met anyone who even has any interest in this

Guess Kamala should have paid that much to get some songs out of her lol

If I’m paying that she has to play her bangers from 2000, her country music isn’t flying lol

She was absolutely horrible. One of the worst live performances of all time. No idea what genre she was even trying to represent with this dumpster fire image she’s presenting

Beyoncé is cool and all but there isn’t an artist on earth worth $1 million per minute. Waste.
