Struggling MSNBC propagandist Joy Reid was joined by Timothy Snyder, a so-called “expert on tyranny,” this past week to discuss conspiracy theories of a pyramid of power and a secret cabal of oligarchs with Putin on top and President Trump on the bottom.
It is unclear when this interview was recorded, but Ried attempted to amplify the theory by posting the clip on her social media accounts Tuesday.
Ried “found out” in what she called an “interesting development” that Trump answers to Elon Musk, who answers to Putin.
This followed an October report from the Wall Street Journal that says Elon Musk has been in contact and colluding with Putin since 2022. However, it can be recalled that Musk in 2022 donated Starlink satellite internet service to Ukraine on his own dime after the country was invaded by Russia.
This is why MSNBC and the other far-left fake news outlets are soon to hit rock bottom.
The Gateway Pundit recently reported that with ratings in the gutter, MSNBC has been forced to cut expenses, including Joy Reid’s roughly $3 million salary.
Yet, she still continues pushing the same dishonest leftwing narratives in lockstep with her radical left colleagues on other failing networks.
Whoopi Goldberg and Joy Behar went even further last week on The View, suggesting that JD Vance and Elon Musk are planning to off Trump and take the White House together.
Democrats and the fake news media have been attacking Elon Musk recently, claiming that he’s the “self-appointed President” because he, along with Republican voters, pressured Republicans in Congress to stand down on a bad spending bill.
As The Gateway Pundit reported, Trump responded to these attacks Sunday while speaking in Phoenix, Arizona, noting that “Elon has done an amazing job,” but he obviously can’t be President or Vice President because he’s a foreign-born citizen.
Still, Reid is desperate to convince her dwindling viewership not only that Musk is somehow in charge of Trump but that it all goes back to Russia.
Watch below:
Reid: An interesting development that may have changed the calculation a little bit today. We found out that Trump, our would-be strong man, is, in a sense, answerable to a bigger strong man, not Vladimir Putin, Elon Musk, who also, allegedly, at least, according to reports, has lots of conversations with Putin. What does that do to the calculation on how Americans should deal with Trump?
Snyder: I think that’s a very good place to start. I wrote a piece a few weeks ago called The Submission Chain, where I tried to explain that voters might like Trump, but Trump is submissive with respect to Musk, and Musk, in return, is submissive with respect to Putin. So, if you vote for Trump, you’re voting for the little guy who admires a bigger guy who, in turn, admires a still bigger guy. And that’s what we’ve got now. We’ve got this cluster of oligarchs, some domestic, some half-domestic, some foreign, who are the real power in our country. So, in terms of how to resist, I think you have to start by doing what you were doing in the last segment, which is to name it for what it is, which is an international oligarchy.
