The bad guys are very unhappy with Elon Musk who has become deeply involved in President-elect Donald J. Trump’s swamp-cleaning project and Anthony “the Mooch” Scaramucci went on CNN to issue a veiled threat to the influential billionaire.
The former White House communications director – who Trump fired after only 10 days – warned Musk that he’d better stay out of politics if he values his safety, a signal of the boiling hatred for the X owner after he helped torpedo Congress’s obscene 1,500+-page bill to fund the government, a gargantuan pork sandwich of corruption.
On Monday’s edition of “The Situation Room,” Scaramucci told anchor Wolf Blitzer that if he had advice for Musk it would be for him to “stick to business” because if he continues to be involved in politics, bad things could happen.
NEW: Anthony Scaramucci issues warning to Elon Musk.
“Lay off the gas on politics a little bit because these people could hurt you.”
“No need for you to get hurt. You’re doing so well in your life.”
Uh, WHAT?

“Stick to business. You‘ve done great. You‘ve made a couple hundred billion dollars since the election,” Scaramucci told Blitzer in what appears to be a warning to the incoming DOGE chief.
“Lay off the gas on politics a little bit because these people, these people could hurt you. And it‘s no, no need for you to get hurt. You‘re doing so well in your life,” he continued.
“Listen, he’s got a very powerful role. He‘s got a $44 billion megaphone. He‘s got over 200 plus million followers and, Wolf, he was instrumental in that election,” Scaramucci explained. “The stuff that Elon Musk did in Pennsylvania alone, I think helped the president win that election. So he has a very big voice.”
The Mooch told Blitzer that while the Tesla/SpaceX CEO may be expecting to “go to Washington and change Washington,” he may not be as successful as he believes.
“He‘s just got to be very, very careful because he‘s making enemies that he doesn‘t realize,” Scaramucci said. “And the incentives in Washington are totally different than those in business. And so everybody is incentivized in a different and sometimes irrational way.”
“And I think the power that he‘s wielding right now, Washington has a great immunological system, and I think they‘ll find a way to rebut him,” Scaramucci added, almost seeming to suggest that Washington is a parasitical organism that will defend itself against anyone and anything that prevents it from devouring the host.
Scaramucci’s suggestion that Musk had better back off or else – something that a mouthpiece for a crime syndicate would say – drew a strong reaction from X users.
So, now they’ve moved on to overt threats. Wow. Musk is striking one hell of a nerve with them.

It’s definitely a veiled threat. Remember when Chuck Schumer said the intelligence community has six ways from Sunday to come after Trump?

I think Scaramucci is just begging to feel powerful again, so he wants to act like some sort of mobster.
Even though nobody listens to him. His credibility is totally out the window.

Tough guy wanna be

Oh, he knows something. Interrogate this guy ASAP

What is he, a gangster?

If Scaramucci thinks this threat will do anything but push @elonmusk to double down, then he doesn’t understand what motivates Elon. People like us don’t do things to play it safe for money or status. This is a new era. Men in 1776 were willing to give all for America, he is too. https://t.co/sDh4IqJ3Ky

If Musk is worried, he isn’t showing it and savagely mocked the messenger.
Can he do the fandango like in that Queen song?
— Elon Musk (@elonmusk) December 24, 2024
The “fandango” reference is to the iconic rock group’s classic hit “Bohemian Rhapsody” in which Freddy Mercury sang, “I see a little silhouetto of a man Scaramouche, Scaramouche, will you do the Fandango? Thunderbolt and lightning, very, very frightening me…”
A “Scaramouche” is a clownlike figure, or as the Merriam-Webster online dictionary defines it: “a cowardly buffoon,” which some might be tempted to suggest perfectly describes the trash-talking cable “news” regular.
