That’s exactly what Chuck did when he sent me a photo of the elk he harvested in New Mexico. Take a look at the beast of an animal and the kill of a lifetime below.

“This was a bucket list trip! I couldn’t have been more blessed on safe travel and a harvest was a plus…I got him on the second rifle hunt in the Carson National Forest with RB outfitters guided by Issac Suazo. My first experience with Elk . I drove all the way from north Georgia solo,” Chuck explained to me when describing the hunt.

I would say that driving all the way from north Georgia solo was absolutely worth it. That’s the kind of elk that you don’t ever stop talking about after taking it down.

It’s going to look incredible mounted on a wall and I’m sure it’s going to taste great.
