Taylor Sheridan’s hit show “Landman” causally nuked Bud Light in the newest episode.

The series about the oil business in Texas has been must-watch television ever since the first episode premiered on Paramount+, and it immediately became one of the best shows airing right now.

It’s dark, gritty, violent and another masterclass in storytelling from Sheridan. Billy Bob Thornton is also incredible, and the latest episode included some rare humor.

“Landman” mocks Bud Light

Well, Sheridan cooked on the episode released Sunday when the show mocked Bud Light for being a woke disaster. The Anheuser-Busch light beer brand has become a joke ever since it went woke by partnering with Dylan Mulvaney – a person claiming to be transgender with an entire shtick of pretending to act like a little girl.

The backlash was overwhelming, and Bud Light’s reputation has never recovered.

Now, a scene in a bar in episode seven of season one openly mocks Bud Light for being on sale when Tommy and his guys go in for lunch.

The full exchange is transcribed below:

Waitress: “We’re having a special on Bud Light.”

Tommy: “I bet you are.”

Dale: “How’s that working out for you?”

Waitress: “Like a popcorn fart in church.”

If that doesn’t put a smile on your face, then I don’t know what will. Most of Hollywood is woke garbage. Meanwhile, Taylor Sheridan is cranking out hits and making jokes about Bud Light.

It reminds me of when “Lioness” made a joke about someone bringing cocaine into the White House. The man knows how to provide content regular Americans will enjoy, and dragging Bud Light is always guaranteed to be a hit.

You definitely need to be watching “Landman” if you’re not already. It’s outstanding, and I’ll crack a beer to toast to Sheridan and the series dancing on Bud Light’s carcass. You love to see it. Let me know what you think at David.Hookstead@outkick.com.
