Somehow, some way, the PNC Championship delivers year after year, and on Sunday it delivered a moment that Tiger Woods, his son Charlie Woods, and the entire golf world will remember forever.

Team Woods began Sunday’s final round of the parent-child tournament tied for the lead and got off to a quick start with back-to-back birdies on the opening two holes. The duo made a disappointing par on the Par 5 third hole but got that bad taste out of their mouths in a hurry thanks to one perfect swing from the younger Woods.

Charlie managed to make his first-ever hole-in-one on the 178-yard Par 3. He had no idea that his ball actually dropped in the hole, but after a huge roar, he celebrated accordingly with his dad, who gave him a huge hug and strong shove in what will go down as an all-time moment.

To make things even more special, Tiger’s daughter, Sam, was caddying for the pair so she had a front-row seat to her little brother’s ace as well.

Charlie, now a high-school sophomore, has yet to find the winner’s circle at the PNC Championship alongside his old man. The duo finished runner-up to John Daly and his son, John Daly II, in 2021 and tied for fifth in the event last year. Team Woods will have to get the best of Vijay Singh and his son, along with Bernhard Langer and his son if they want to hoist the trophy Sunday afternoon in Florida.
