Dolton, Illinois Mayor and Thornton Township supervisor Tiffany Henyard has once again taken to spewing a bunch of crazy nonsense.

Henyard, known for her wild outbursts and rants, started comparing herself to legendary civil rights figures after she lost a Democrat caucus earlier this month to state Sen. Napoleon Harris. Had she won the caucus, she would have been the Democrat nominee in next year’s Thornton Township supervisor election.

Upon losing, she claimed that “we didn’t have our opportunity to be heard” and that “on Dec. 3, 2024 [the day of the caucus], your right to vote was hijacked by your committeeman, Sen. Napoleon Harris.”

Speaking this week with Chicago station WLS, Harris disputed this narrative.

“No one was denied entry, everything was done above board,” he said. “We need to respect the rule of law.”

Henyard did not take kindly to his disputing her narrative.

I am history,” she told WLS. “I am the 21st-century history. I am your Rosa Parks, your Harriet Tubman. I am that person. Somebody has to say never, never ever give up.

Critics were thoroughly unimpressed and unconvinced by her words.

Look:

Henyard is viewed by many, as previously reported, as pretty much a nutjob who appears to have zero ethics or morals. Earlier this year, for example, word broke that she’d placed her stylist/makeup artist on the public payroll.

Henyard, who draws an annual salary of nearly $300K while presiding over a Chicago-area village where the average income hovers around $24K, had evidently been getting beautified by the vendor “Style Me Brandon,” a business owned by Brandon K. Momon.

“According to records from a Freedom of Information Act Request (FOIA), Henyard put Momon on the government payroll as an ‘ADMIN. ASSISTANT,” Fox News reported in March. “Momon was paid $7,650, over six transactions between April 6 and June 5, 2023, according to FOIA documents.”

“Born and raised in Chicago, Illinois Brandon Momon is a Fashion Stylist and Image Consultant specializing in Business Meetings, the Governor’s Ball, Weddings, Red Carpet Dressings, Photo Shoots and everyday styling needs,” Momon’s website read at the time.

The FOIA documents were provided to Fox News by Stephanie Wiedeman, a former Thornton Township employee fired by Henyard. She described the mayor as a full-blown “narcissist” in comments to the outlet.

“[Her] personality is narcissistic,” Wiedeman said. “I’ve met people in my life that have characteristics of being a narcissist but… every single characteristic you need to qualify for she exhibited on a regular basis.”

“She didn’t trust me. I wasn’t part of her team. Those were her words. It wasn’t a surprise to me that I was let go. It was a surprise to me that she shattered everything else [in the Township],” she said. “The community is suffering because of it,” she added.

Henyard previously miraculously survived a recall election in 2023, after which she reportedly showed up at the next board meeting blaring disco music and then dancing on the podium.

One of the reasons the recall effort was initiated was because Henyard hired a convicted sex offender as a code enforcement officer — “a job in which he goes into Dolton homes and businesses to inspect them and make sure they are up to code,” according to Chicago station WFLD.

As the mayor of Dolton, she reportedly earns almost $300,000 a year. Meanwhile, her postings on social media indicate that she believes God chose her for her position, and she frequently refers to herself as a “Super Mayor.”

“In one of the greatest examples [of her insanity] derided by critics, Henyard put an ordinance in place that if she lost her election to be mayor in the upcoming elections, the future mayor’s salary would be reduced from over $200K to $25,000,” according to Fox News. “But if Henyard wins, the salary would remain the same.”

To say she’s corrupt would be a gross understatement.
