We reported earlier in the week about the Wall Street Journal report that had concerning new stories about how long they’ve been covering up Joe Biden’s cognitive decline and how severe it had gotten even three years ago during the withdrawal from Afghanistan, when the chair of the House Armed Services Committee at the time wasn’t even able to get through to him about potential problems that could occur with the withdrawal.

The WSJ reported several instances where Biden struggled with day-to day things including that he was so impaired he couldn’t even repeat back lines they were giving him to prepare him for his interview with Special Counsel Robert Hur over the classified document scandal.

It’s an incredible scandal that reveals how much control unelected individuals shielding Biden had over decision-making.

And it gets worse.

We previously reported how the families of the American service members killed during the Abbey Gate bombing during the withdrawal said during the dignified transfer ceremony when the bodies of the dead are received hot, Biden repeatedly checked his watch and talked about his son Beau more than about their children who had just been killed. It was a stunning response to families who just lost their loved ones because of his failures around the withdrawal.

Now families of those service members are revealing another shocking insult from Biden during the dignified transfer ceremony.

‘(Biden) made us wait an extra three hours to receive the bodies of our dead family members because he couldn’t pull it together,’ Roice McCollum told DailyMail.com.

Roice said she and others were waiting for Biden to appear when a military officer told her he was napping on his plane.

Christy Shamblin, the mother-in-law of Marine Sgt. Nicole Gee, and Darin Hoover, the father of Staff Sgt. Taylor Hoover, who were also killed in the Kabul blast, told DailyMail.com that their families were also left waiting on the tarmac.

‘We sat in that office for what seemed like an eternity waiting on the doddering old fool,’ Hoover recalled.

The families want accountability.

Summing up the experience that day, Roice said Biden ‘was far beyond a position where he should have been in office, but the powers that be covered it up. We were left in the dark – worse than that, we were blatantly lied to.’

Now, the families are demanding answers as to who exactly planned the withdrawal – and why America has been lied to for years about it.

“One of the biggest shocks for me was meeting a Commander-in-Chief who was clearly not well or fit for the position he was in.” Christy Shamblin said.

“It’s very frustrating that this investigation is being done at the end of his term when it very clearly should have been from the start,” Roice McCollum said.

‘The American people deserve to know what is going on with our commander in chief. (Biden) was still showing up to do the job in whatever capacity he was able to do, and it was his call, according to the generals, to withdraw from Afghanistan.’

Darin Hoover blasted Biden.

‘We have known that he was pretty much MIA during the drawdown of Afghanistan. He refused to take the advice of his military leaders as they have stated in their testimonies before Congress and we have found out that Secretary Blinken was also MIA during those days leading up to the bombing’ at Kabul Airport, he said.

If Biden wasn’t “answering his phone or taking advice from anyone, who really made the final decision to go through with the withdrawal?” Hoover asked.

‘Biden is just a figurehead and everyone has been covering for him. They should all be jailed for this!! And I fully believe our kids would still be here had it not been for the stumbling, bumbling old fool occupying the White House.

Shamblin noted that this was “three years ago.” Imagine how much worse it is now. Of course, we’ve seen some of it day in and day out, but the more troubling thing is all the things that were hidden from us, and that once he’s out will probably start coming out.

She also said that she was “beyond grateful that the American people saw past all the lies and believed their own eyes,” adding that she wanted an apology from Jen Psaki , who she said smeared the families as liars in her book.

‘I think the more these facts come out the more Americans will understand they were lied to purposely for the last 4 years on even the most basic facts,’ she continued.

‘President Biden was not fit for office and it’s sad he did not have someone to speak up earlier.’

The White House is of course denying the story about Biden sleeping.

Big surprise, as they have denied everything we’ve seen with our own eyes for years. They claim he honors the 13 killed. If that were true, why hasn’t he then answered the questions of the families or held anyone accountable for the withdrawal failures?

The answer, of course, is that he and/or the unelected people surrounding him are responsible for those failures.
