Elon Musk had a few choice words for the Democratic senator who asserted that his support of a German political party was akin to “endorsing a neo-Nazi party.”
Demagoguery was here to stay for the left, seemingly branching out to anyone who disrupted the goals of globalism. This week that included Connecticut Sen. Chris Murphy running a media circuit accusing the world’s richest man of supporting an “extremist group” as support for populism continued to spread.
Ahead of a federal election for the next chancellor of Germany, Musk had signaled favor for the Alternative für Deutschland Party (AfD, Alternative for Germany), which had risen in popularity for promoting a national sovereignty approach to the rampant open border crisis in Europe and opposition to censorship.
Seeing an opportunity to once again link President-elect Donald Trump to the atrocities of dictators, Murphy joined CNN’s Dana Bash and said in response to the question, “What does it tell you?” that, “I mean, I don’t know what it tells me. What we know is that what Elon Musk thinks tends to eventually be what the president of the United States thinks. And if the United States takes an official position in favor of neo-Nazis in Germany, I mean, it is absolutely catastrophic — absolutely catastrophic for the people of Germany, for Europe and ultimately for the United States.”
To that, the entrepreneur asserted, “What a huge liar. The AfD policies are identical to those of the US Democratic Party when Obama took office! I don’t think there is a single difference.”

Ahead of his assertion, Bash had prompted the senator, “And this is a group that has been labeled as extremist by Germany’s own government. One of its founders has been charged in the past with promoting Nazi slogans. I saw that you noticed this on X. Can you talk about your reaction to this?”
Murphy replied, “Yeah, I mean, this is not normal. So AfD is essentially the neo-Nazi party in Germany. They exist to try to rehabilitate the image of the Nazi party. And they have all sorts of very dangerous ideas about ridding Germany of anyone who is not naturally born in that country.”
“They are an extremist group. And it is just extraordinary that maybe the most important adviser to the president of the United States, somebody that has been parading around the halls of Congress as a key adviser to the president, is endorsing a neo-Nazi party inside Germany,” continued the lawmaker.
The senator had given a similar schtick on MSNBC, stirring Musk to respond, “What a retard.”

Elsewhere, the entrepreneur had called out an example of the “broken system” in Germany that found a woman fined €6,000 for posting about a foreign national committing rape while someone convicted of rape was slapped with a €8,000 fine and probation.

All the while, at least two people, an adult and child, were reportedly killed alongside dozens of others injured after a Saudi man was alleged to have driven a vehicle through the crowd at a Christmas market in Magdeburg, Germany.
Reactions to Murphy’s remarks had many calling for accountability for alleged slander.
Someone should remind Murphy that unless he is speaking from the well of the Senate, he is liable for slander.

It’s the only thing they have, point fingers and name calling.

Yes. The German people are tired of living under the shame of their great grandparents. They don’t want to bring back the past. They just want to be proud of Germany again. That isn’t far right.
