Senator Rand Paul has suggested that Elon Musk be named the new Speaker of the House to replace Rep. Mike Johnson.
The Kentucky politician made the suggestion in a Thursday morning post on X.

Musk and many others have been blasting Johnson for the wasteful spending bill introduced on Tuesday evening.
President-elect Donald Trump has already selected Musk to co-lead the new Department of Government Efficiency (or “DOGE”) with former presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy.
