Fox News’s Neil Cavuto will be leaving the network, reportedly expected to announce his departure on his program Thursday afternoon.

According to Mediaite, who exclusively reported the story, Cavuto’s contract is expected to expire by the end of the month and he opted not to accept a new contract offered by Fox News. The host has come under fire in recent years for what critics call an antagonistic attitude toward President-elect Donald Trump. However, a source revealed to Mediaite that his choice to leave the network “has nothing to do with Trump.”

“New programming will be announced in the new year on Fox News and Fox Business, a source said. For now, Your World will be helmed by a rotating cast of anchors until a new show debuts. Coast to Coast on Fox Business will become FOX Business Live, anchored by rotating hosts, until new programming debuts,” Mediaite reported.

“Neil Cavuto’s illustrious career has been a master class in journalism, and we’re extremely proud of his incredible 28-year run with FOX News Media,” Fox told the outlet in a statement. “His programs have defined business news and set the standard for the entire industry. We wish him a heartfelt farewell and all the best on his next chapter.”

X users also wished Cavuto farewell, and for some, “good riddance”:
