California police raided the home of 20-year-old Alexander Paffendorf on Tuesday in Carlsbad, California and ordered the man to surrender all firearms ammunition and magazines that he owns after Paffendorf was linked online to Madison, Wisconsin school shooter 15-year-old Samantha Rupnow.
Paffendorf is accused of plotting a bombing at a local government building.
Rupnow and Paffendorf had been exchanging messages.
The protective order was issued after Samantha Rupnow opened fire in a Christian school killing one student and a teacher before committing suicide.
