Liberal anti-Trump residents in Washington, D.C., were given a harsh reality check when they found out how their tax money was being spent, as recently revealed by the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).

Fox News interviewed local residents about government spending, who appeared totally unaware of how their money was being spent.

Unsurprisingly, residents were stunned at how ridiculous the spending was.

When the Fox interviewer asked one resident about the government spending $750,000 to determine whether it was “one small step for man” or “one small step for a man” in regard to the moon landing, their response was one of anger and bewilderment.

“What the heck?” one D.C. resident responded.

They also were not aware of the $1 million spent on studying if cocaine makes quail more promiscuous.

“Exactly why would you be studying that?” one resident asked with a mixture of amusement and confusion.

How about the $100,000 to determine if tequila or gin makes sunfish more aggressive?

Nope, they weren’t aware of that either, with one resident saying, “Sunfish? Wow!”
