Trump campaign adviser Alex Bruesewitz worked with Barron Trump to boost the former president’s outreach to young people.

Trump campaign adviser Alex Bruesewitz, 27, collapsed on stage while speaking at the New York Young Republican Club gala on the evening of Dec. 15.

Bruesewitz, the CEO of consulting firm X Strategies, has been credited with helping the president-elect engage the American youth, with his efforts showing in the 2024 election result among young males. According to his strategy company website, Bruesewitz is an unwavering supporter of President-elect Donald Trump and what he describes as “the values of the new Republican Party.”

Trump allies Steve Bannon, Nigel Farage, Dan Scavino, and Corey Lewandowski were also speakers at the annual event, now in its 112th year.

In video footage of the speech, Bruesewitz was heard saying, “I’m forgetting my words,” before he collapsed onto his podium and fell off the stage.

Supporters were quick to rush on stage to assist.

It wasn’t clear what the medical issue was. Conservative commentator Jack Posobiec said in a Dec. 16 post on social media platform X that he had talked to Bruesewitz backstage where the young speaker was “getting checked out by medical after having a brief fainting spell onstage.”

“All levels are normal,” Posobiec said of the conscious Bruesewitz who, according to Posobiec, was already making jokes.

A later update from former Justice Department official Jeffrey Clark, who said he was in touch with people accompanying Bruesewitz, said the adviser had “fainted” again while he was in hospital for observation.

“I’ve just heard from someone with Alex at the hospital that he fainted again while he was there. So he is undergoing tests,” Clark said. “He’s too young for all this. Please redouble your prayer efforts for Alex!”
During Trump’s 2024 presidential campaign, Bruesewitz worked with the president-elect’s son, Barron Trump, to boost the former president’s outreach to young people.
During the waning stages of the 2024 presidential race, Trump sat down with several popular podcasters such as Joe Rogan, who has millions of followers, as well as Theo Von, Lex Fridman, Adin Ross, and others. Vice President-elect JD Vance also appeared on several podcasts, including Rogan’s show just days after Trump.
Many of the podcast episodes with Trump generated millions of views each, with the Rogan episode garnering 52 million views in just over a month.

Bruesewitz also authored the book “Winning the Social Media War: How Conservatives Can Fight Back, Reclaim the Narrative, and Turn the Tides Against the Left.”
