Israel has faced massive international blowback for their efforts to ensure peace for their people, and even though it was the Jewish state that was subject to the savage Hamas attack that left over 1,200 people dead on Oct. 7, 2023, protesters around the world—including on college campuses across America—have been vilifying Israel and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for fighting back and seeking to destroy the forces aligned against them.

But they’re not taking it lying down, and on Sunday, their foreign minister told Ireland what to do with their antisemitic rhetoric:

They’re fed up with all the anti-Israel, pro-Hamas propaganda coming from the Emerald Isle.
“The antisemitic actions and rhetoric that Ireland is taking against Israel are based on delegitimization and demonization of the Jewish state and on double standards,” says Foreign Minister Gideon] Sa’ar in a statement. “Ireland has crossed all red lines in its relationship with Israel. Israel will invest its resources in promoting bilateral relations with the countries of the world according to priorities that are also derived from the attitude of the various countries towards it.”
At the same time, Sa’ar announces that Israel will open an embassy in Moldova, which already has an embassy in Israel. The opening is expected to occur in the next year, and Israel is beginning the process of finding a site and appointing an ambassador.
“There are countries that are interested in strengthening their ties with Israel and do not yet have an Israeli embassy,” says Sa’ar. “We will adjust the Israeli diplomatic structure of our missions while giving weight, among other things, to the approach and actions of the various countries towards Israel in the political arena.”

I did one of those genetic tests and found out that I’ve got a whole lot of Ireland in me. I love everything Irish, except for maybe some of their food, but I’ve been unimpressed, shall we say, with some of what’s going on there in the political realm in recent times. They’ve gone woke—and it isn’t working out so well.
Israel just sent them a much-needed message, and it’s time for the Irish to wake up and get on the right side of history.

Like America, Europe got way too wrapped up in “woke” policies along with insane immigration policies. Ireland would do well to pay attention to Israel’s pointed message—and to the election results here in America, where the electorate said loud and clear we’re done with this kind of foolishness.

That crowd had their chance, and they failed miserably. It’s a new era, and Ireland would do better looking after its own people than coddling terrorists.
