Congress has until Friday to avoid a partial government shutdown and negotiators are racing to beat the clock.

Speaker Mike Johnson, R-La., did not unveil the framework of an agreement over the weekend.

The text of bill is expected to be released at some point on Monday or Tuesday after negotiators finalize a deal.

The national debt is currently $36.1 trillion.
