Just three “Squad” turned up to the farewells from the two members who lost their Democratic primaries this year, Reps. Jamaal Bowman (D-NY) and Cori Bush (D-MO).

Bowman and Bush delivered their farewell speeches to an empty congressional floor.

Only fellow Squad members Ayanna Pressley (D-MA), Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), and Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) were present.

Reps. Ilhan Omar (D-MN), Greg Casar (D-TX), Summer Lee (D-PA), and Delia Ramirez (D-IL) were among those missing.

As the future of the Democratic Party hangs in the balance, which many blame on “woke” issues, including anti-Israel protests supported by some Squad members.

Bowman drew a Jewish challenger after referring to Israel’s war against Hamas as a “genocide” against Palestinians,

AOC cancelled a planned appearance with Bowman on election day, a sign of how unpopular he had become.

Bush has been the subject of self-inflicted scandals and is tied for the e lowest Missouri congressperson to see their bills out of committee, according to GovTrack.

The DOJ launched an investigation into Bush’s antisemitic bodyguard and whether he performed any work while being g paid hundreds of thousands of dollars by her official office.

She also made some unforgivable errors, such as confusing Memorial Day with Veterans Day, and also failing to understand the tax code while giving unsolicited opinions on race about selective criminal matters.

The Squad’s antics also caused internal friction, with many Democrats saying they were putting their chances of a majority in jeopardy.

“Nobody who cares about them tried to help, tried to stop them, tried to say, ‘Hey, there’s a better way. You don’t need to do this,” one Democratic lawmaker told Politico.

“You can advocate for your position without alienating the vast majority of voters.”

“If you’re going to start huge fights as opposed to governing,” the person said, “there are consequences.”

As the outlet reported this week, the majority of Democrats on the House Oversight Committee supported AOC’s bid to become a ranking member

Cortez appears to have staked her future on rising in the House.

According to sources, she is shoring up relationships with other members, and regularly contributes to the Democrats’ campaign arm.
