Postmaster General Louis DeJoy testified before a House oversight hearing about his terrible handling of the US Postal Service.
For some perspective, the USPS lost $10 billion this year.
Yes, that’s $10 billion, with a “b.” In one year.
Meanwhile, the Postmaster General is making a salary of $341,000 per year.
Another topic of discussion was the USPS’s horrible handling of mail-in ballots during the 2020 and 2024 elections.

In spite of this, during the hearing, DeJoy graded his performance with an “A.”
When members of Congress pushed back on that rating, he responded in the most childish way:

To be fair to DeJoy, this commenter made an interesting point:
DeJoy is the former CEO of a private logistics company. It’s entirely possible he’s been trying to make needed reforms, but we all know how difficult that is when working with a corrupt, unionized government bureaucracy.
It seems like DOGE will have its work cut out for them.
