The guy who can’t help but gas up the waterworks whenever his political side takes a loss seems oh so joyful when discussing a murderer.
Luigi Mangione murdered UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson outside his hotel in Manhattan. Before he was caught, Mangione’s face appeared in photos, and it was discovered that he was good-looking according to many women and some men. Once hid identity was revealed, the hunt for his social media was on, and it was instantly found. With it, pictures of him were released that showed him with toned abs and a handsome face, immediately making many women drool.

This adoration was only beefed up by the fact that many people were celebrating the murder of Thompson as justified due to the predatory and oftentimes unfair nature of health insurance companies. With the combination of good looks and societal avenger going for him, Mangione has become something of a hero to many.
Including Jimmy Kimmel and his staff.
During a segment in his show on Tuesday night, Kimmel highlighted exchanges between his female staff members (and one male) about how attractive Mangione was. Kimmel noted there’s a “huge wave of horny” washing over society right now, and then showed screen grabs of his staff discussing Mangione.
Comments about wanting to “fix” him, being a prison bride, giving him cookies in prison and possibly “more,” were brought up between his staff members. One even hoped she got jury duty just to be closer to him.
Kimmel describes how his producers are in love with the UnitedHealth murderer: “I would visit him in prison! And bake him cookies, maybe. Perhaps more …“

Kimmel says “it feels kind of good” to move away from non-stop election nonsense, saying discussing a “cold-blooded murderer’s” good looks “might be progress.”

I want everyone to remember that Kimmel teared up because he’s 100 percent positive that innocent people are going to be hurt under Trump, but his hypocrisy goes far deeper than that. Remember in 2015, when a dentist from Minnesota shot Cecil the Lion?
Kimmel did an entire bit on how awful the guy was for killing the lion, even getting choked up at the end of the segment.
So Kimmel and his staff hate it when people and animals get hurt… but if it’s the right kind of person getting hurt, it’s okay.
These people are mentally unstable.
I don’t know anyone who thinks our health insurance companies are upright and fair. I think we can all understand the frustration with them. I do think many of them are doing things that are awful. However, we’re still talking about the murder of a person here. Maybe this is all fun for Kimmel and his staff, but there are some people having to bury a family member.
I don’t know what kind of person Thompson was. I don’t know if he was directly responsible for whatever happened to Mangione or if Mangione just picked him as the target because he was the most visible person at the company, but we shouldn’t be condoning murder based on whether we don’t like a company.

If you truly want to celebrate a person getting their just deserts, we could start people who sexually abuse children. But for some reason, the left doesn’t seem to get too upset about their existence and even seem happy to mourn their death, especially if it was politically expedient to do so. You’ll notice people are still mad at Kyle Rittenhouse about Joseph Rosenbaum.
If you’re still taking Jimmy Kimmel’s moral grandstanding seriously, now’s a good time to abandon that sentiment.
