Country music star Morgan Wallen on Thursday was sentenced to seven days in a DUI education center and two years of supervised probation for throwing a chair off the roof of a bar in Nashville earlier this year.

Wallen was initially charged with three felony counts of reckless endangerment and one misdemeanor count of disorderly conduct after he was accused of throwing a chair off the top of Chief’s bar in April. The chair did not land on anyone, but landed approximately a yard from police officers.

The country music singer pleaded “conditionally guilty” to two misdemeanor counts of reckless endangerment earlier Thursday. 

Wallen’s attorney Worrick Robinson said in a statement reported by the Associated Press that his client has cooperated with authorities in the investigation and has apologized to everyone involved. 

“Upon the successful completion of his probation, the charges will be eligible for dismissal and expungement,” Robinson added.

Wallen said he accepted “responsibility” for his actions in a video that was published shortly after the April incident, and said he was “not proud” of his behavior. He also said he was making amends, and talking to law enforcement.
