Hope Walz, the 23-year-old daughter of Minnesota Governor Tim Walz—often dubbed “Tampon Tim” by critics for his fixation on left-wing social issues—recently shared her peculiar dating criteria, leaving many conservatives shaking their heads.

As reported by The Gateway Pundit, during an online rant, Hope revealed that she and her friends use Joe Rogan’s Instagram following as a “litmus test” for the men they date.

In her own words, “If the guy we’re talking to follows Joe Rogan on Instagram, they’re a red flag, and we should probably stop talking to them.”

According to Walz, this test has been her go-to for years, with her and her friends immediately cutting ties with any potential suitor who follows the wildly popular podcaster, comedian, and UFC commentator.

She went so far as to call Rogan “questionable and unprofessional,” claiming that his platform spreads “misinformation and straight-up lies.”

While Walz proudly touted this approach as foolproof, critics were quick to point out the irony.

Conservatives noted that dismissing someone for following the host of the world’s most popular podcast—known for sparking open and thought-provoking discussions—might explain why Hope and her friends seem to be limiting themselves to men whose personalities are as weak as their soy lattes.

It’s especially ironic, given her father’s history of questionable rhetoric.

Governor Tim Walz has been repeatedly caught peddling falsehoods and inflating his credentials. In one notorious example, Walz falsely claimed to be an Army combat veteran during a farewell address to soldiers deploying to Iraq in 2009.

Later, he was forced to backpedal, admitting that his military service was in the National Guard, not on the front lines.

Hope’s disdain for alleged “misinformation” rings hollow when contrasted with her father’s record. Known for fabricating or exaggerating details, Walz once claimed to have been in China during the 1989 Tiananmen Square massacre.

When called out, he dismissed the lie as getting “caught up” in his own rhetoric, referring to himself as a “knucklehead.”

More scandalously, Walz has faced allegations of engaging in a secret affair with the daughter of a high-ranking Communist official while in China. Add to that a campaign trail riddled with disinformation.

Even CNN—hardly a conservative outlet—took the rare step of fact-checking Harris-Walz campaign statements, exposing their repeated use of deceptive social media propaganda. One X account, aptly named @KamalaHQLies, was created specifically to debunk the campaign’s rampant dishonesty.

Despite his shaky record, Governor Walz has advocated banning so-called “misinformation,” stating, “There’s no guarantee to free speech on misinformation.” This heavy-handed stance is a bitter pill for conservatives, who see it as an Orwellian attempt to suppress dissenting voices.

As for Hope Walz, her tirade against Rogan and his fans seems to reflect the same disdain for open discourse that her father exhibits. “Good luck, ladies,” some quipped, suggesting that their dating pool is destined to dwindle to equally intolerant leftists.

Joe Rogan, host of the world’s most-listened-to podcast, remains unfazed, while Hope Walz’s remarks are quickly becoming fodder for conservative ridicule.
