Pretty exciting news here from comedian Rob Schneider. His media company is working on an all-female talk show which will be a direct competitor with The View.

No word yet on who Rob plans to put on the panel, though he does call them “household names.” He also says “it’s official,” and they’re going to “start shooting shows before the inauguration.”

I’m no suburban woman, but to be honest I’m looking forward to this. And about that “competing with The View” talk … I mean, who could compete with this?

For the record, Rob says his show will not be “drowning people in politics, not going to be shaming people and making people wince,” so it’s hard to say it’s going to be a real competitor to The View.

It’ll be the opposite, because this’ll be entertaining. It’ll be funny. We’ll have funny women on it that are going to tell jokes and have funny stories.
