As the sands run out of the hourglass of Joe Biden’s disastrous presidency, Democrats have a Christmas wish list of agenda items they want to see him address on the way out the door.

The deeply unpopular president and his party may have decisively lost the election but they aren’t going to let the last six weeks go to waste while there’s still time to ram through left-wing priorities, lay booby traps that will impede President-elect Donald J. Trump’s reforms and preventively pardon political allies.

Among the priorities are placating the climate doomsday cult, protecting criminal illegal aliens from deportation, ending mass incarceration, and forgiving student loan debt.

In a recent letter to Biden, top congressional climate zealot Sen. Ed Markey (D-MA) and others including Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) urged him to “cement his climate legacy” by “continuing to deliver the benefits” of the 2022 Inflation Reduction Act, an Orwellian titled Trojan horse for the extremist Green New Deal.

“As we prepare for the challenges ahead, we urge you to cement this climate legacy by continuing to deliver the benefits of the landmark Inflation Reduction Act and Bipartisan Infrastructure Law to working-class people, pushing back against unnecessary and costly fossil fuel projects, and ensuring key guidance and other regulatory documents are in place to limit uncertainty for workers, businesses, households, and communities. After all, the threat of climate change will outlive any electoral cycle,” Markey and company said.

With Trump having pledged to undertake the largest deportation operation in the nation’s history, Democrats are already digging to oppose sending illegal aliens – and their future votes – back to where they came from.

Last week, Sens. Catherine Cortez Masto (D-NV), Alex Padilla (D-CA), and Ben Ray Lujan (D-NM) sent a letter to Biden imploring him to extend protections to “long-term immigrant communities” before he leaves the White House.

“In addition to supporting strong border security, we are eager to ensure that DACA, TPS holders, and other immigrants who are critical members of our communities and economies are not forgotten during this busy time,” wrote the trio.

Two high-profile black House Democrats, Reps. Ayanna Pressley (D-MA) and Jim Clyburn (D-SC) also sent Biden a letter, calling for him to free thousands of convicted criminals from the nation’s prison system.

“Now is the time to use your clemency authority to rectify unjust and unnecessary criminal laws passed by Congress and draconian sentences given by judges,” they wrote. “The grant of pardons and commutations and the restoration of rights will undoubtedly send a powerful message across the country in support of fundamental fairness and furthering meaningful criminal justice reform.”

Biden’s sweeping pardon of his scoundrel son Hunter Biden for all crimes he “has committed or may have committed” during a decade-long period has led to calls for him to similarly pardon his brother Jim Biden as well as many others who could soon find themselves in legal hot water once the Justice Department is back in the law enforcement business.

The media and elected Democrats are fiercely lobbying Biden to also grant preemptive clemency to a long list of those who may be guilty of having committed crimes in the scorched earth war to prevent Trump’s return to the White House. Among those who could be in line for pardons are Jack Smith, Adam Schiff, Nancy Pelosi, Gen. Mark Milley, Liz Cheney and her fellow J6 committee members, and Dr. Anthony S. Fauci.

Also on the wish list is student debt forgiveness which a trio of Democrats called for in their own letter to the soon-to-be-gone Biden’s Secretary of Education Miguel Cardona.

Sens. Ed Markey (D-MA) and Dick Durbin (D-IL) and Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA) urged the geriatric leader to forgive the debt for those “who attended institutions with documented histories of predatory practices, and processing any outstanding borrower defense applications.” The letter was signed by more than 70 congressional Democrats.

The extent to which Biden will play Santa Claus for demanding Democrats remains to be seen but his pardon of Hunter shows that he could be very willing to deliver on their wishes.
