If there is any real villain in the Jordan Neely and Daniel Penny saga, it’s gotta be this man.

Jordan Neely’s father, Andre Zachary, who has been using the spotlight garnered after his son’s death to push a message of racial division, says that the “system is rigged” because Daniel Penny is walking free.

The system is rigged.

The system is rigged because his homeless drug-addict son threatened to kill people on a train and was restrained by an exonerated good samaritan who acted to protect women and children?

Come on people, let’s do something about this!

Seriously, what does “do something” mean?

The case was brought to trial, where an overwhelming amount of evidence proved Penny was not only the good guy, but that he wasn’t liable for Neely’s death.

Penny used his Marine training to put Neely in the proper recovery position after the chokehold and check his vitals, Neely was alive when police arrived, and police refused to administer CPR or other measures because Neely was dirty. Multiple witnesses on the train testified in Penny’s defense.

The U.S. legal system works, even though the DA and his prosecutors tried really hard to frame Penny as the racist “white guy.” Even with the odds stacked against him, a jury of Penny’s peers exonerated him.

So when Zachary says “do something,” does he mean this?

As for Andre Zachary as a person, I’ll just let The Blaze’s Liz Wheeler share her thoughts about him using his son’s death for the spotlight:

Zachary is suing Penny, trying to hold him responsible in civil court for Neely’s death. Jason Whitlock had thoughts on this the other day.

It’s all one sad grift, unfortunately. I feel sad for Neely with parents like these.
