A majority of voters say that President-elect Donald Trump’s win gives him a mandate to implement the policies he ran on.
According to a study from Rasmussen Reports, 55% of voters said that Trump’s victory is also a victory for his agenda.
Thirty-two percent of voters said they don’t agree with that sentiment and 13% said they were unsure.
Included among the campaign promises he ran on were mass deportations, securing the border, drill baby drill, fixing the economy and cleaning out federal agencies.
According to the Pew Research Center, violent crime, immigration and the economy were the three top issues to Trump supporters in the 2024 election.
The Rasmussen Reports poll was conducted between Dec. 1-3 and had a sampling margin of +/-3% with 1,291 voters being surveyed.
