The buzz comes amid claims that Trump’s team might ditch their earlier choice, former Fox News host Pete Hegseth, due to hurdles in securing his Senate confirmation. According to the Wall Street Journal, Trump casually floated DeSantis’ name during a recent chat at Mar-a-Lago, as reported by MSN.
Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Fetterman weighed in with his signature mix of humor and snark. “I’ll consider a YES on him if he finally admits to his boots with 4″ lifts,” the senator quipped, referring to a popular internet conspiracy about DeSantis allegedly wearing height-boosting insoles.
