Melania Trump, who will be first lady again, said that her son Barron Trump played a significant role in getting her husband, President-elect Donald Trump, back into the White House.

“He is a grown young man,” she said in an interview with Fox News on Friday. “I’m very proud of him, about his knowledge, even about politics and giving advice to his father. He brought in so many young people. He knows his generation.”

“Because nowadays, the younger generation, they don’t sit in front of TV anymore. They are all on the tablets. They’re on the phones and all of these podcasts and streamers,” she said.

“He was very vocal, and he gave advice to his father. And it was incredible how he brought in success because he knew exactly who his father needed to contact and to talk to,” the former and next first lady said.

Barron is said to have advised his dad to go on podcasts like “The Joe Rogan Experience,” the Adin Ross stream on Kick, “This Past Weekend with Theo Von,” and the “PBD Podcast” which is hosted by businessman Patrick Bet-David.

She also spoke about how her 18-year-old son is doing in his freshman year at New York University’s Stern School of Business.

“I don’t think it’s possible for him to be a normal student,” she said. “His experience at college, it’s very different than any other kid, and I’m very proud [with] how he’s handling it. He’s very strong, and he knows that he’s in a different position than other children.”

“He does like it,” she said.

The wife of the president-elect shared the advice that she has given her son about his future.

“Make your dreams come true. This is your road. This is your life. And make sure that you listen to yourself, your likes and dislikes,” she said.

This month, she appointed Hayley Harrison as her new chief of staff, a seasoned aide with extensive experience in White House operations who brings a blend of loyalty, expertise, and institutional knowledge to the position, positioning her as a pivotal figure in the Trump administration’s second term.

The Office of Melania Trump announced on social media as momentum grew for President-elect Donald Trump’s return to the White House.

“Mrs. Harrison has maintained an integral role and exceptional leadership on the First Lady’s team over the past seven years,” the statement read. “She has a strong understanding of White House operations, and as Chief of Staff, Mrs. Harrison will oversee and manage the East Wing’s team while strategically liaising with other parts of government.”

Since her husband was elected President, Melania Trump has added a new member to her East Wing staff. Previously, Stephanie Grisham served as Melania’s COS during the latter part of Trump’s first term but resigned shortly after the January 6, 2021, Capitol riot, and became a noted anti-Trumper.

The chief of staff of the first lady serves as a senior advisor, responsible for supervising her initiatives, public engagements, and office operations. The position involves strategic planning, providing expertise on public relations and policy, and managing Melania’s staff to ensure efficient and effective operations.

Harrison and her husband, William “Beau” Harrison, both former staff members in the Trump White House, have maintained their close relationship with the former president after he departed from office. According to the Daily Mail, they relocated to Mar-a-Lago alongside the Trumps, traveling aboard Marine One on January 20, 2021.

First Lady Jill Biden and President Joe Biden also greeted President-elect Trump when they both met at the White House last week. Melania Trump declined Jill’s invitation to the annual gathering of incoming and outgoing first ladies, citing a commitment to her book as her reason.
