Guys, this one hurts.

Phil Robertson is one of the truly great men in our world today. A strong and vocal Christian, a successful businessman, a master outdoorsman, a D1 college quarterback back in the day, and an example for men everywhere.

And let’s not forget that he’s probably the greatest reality tv show characters to ever exist on Duck Dynasty.

Phil’s son Jase broke the news on his recent podcast.

On Friday’s episode of ‘Unashamed with the Robertson Family’ podcast, Phil’s son Jase revealed the diagnosis.

‘Phil’s not doing well. I think I spoke on the 1000th podcast, we were trying to figure out the diagnosis, but according to the doctors, he has some sort of blood disease causing all kinds of problems,’ Jase said.

It sounds like Phil is entering the final chapter of his life, and what a life he has lead.

According to Jase, his dad’s blood disease is so painful that not only can he not do the podcast, but he can hardly walk from place to place in his home without shouting in pain.

What an awful pain to endure.

Jase noted that the team of doctors told him and his family that ‘there’s no curing what’ Phil has.

Right now it’s just about bringing as much comfort to Phil in the final days of his life.

We all need to pray for the Robertson family as they face this next chapter without the ultimate patriarch in the picture.
