A sobering reminder that some things, including beautiful ocean views, are just not worth dying for:

An aspiring actress was swallowed to death by a giant wave while doing cliffside yoga on her vacation in Thailand, local outlets report.

Shocking footage captured Kamilla Belyatskaya, 24, as the wave swept her away at the island of Koh Samui, overlooking the Gulfside of Thailand, during a meditation session on a pink yoga mat…

For the record, when this happened warnings had been in place concerning the dangers of the water.

Footage circulating on social media purports to show the moment when the wave struck the young woman:

Video depicting the ocean that day, meanwhile, showed how easily someone could lose their life in these waters:

A bystander reportedly, “went into the water to attempt to save her but was unsuccessful.” His fate “is currently unknown.”

Waves of up to nine feet, meanwhile, kept rescuers from retrieving the young woman’s body. She was ultimately found less than a mile away.

Authorities have since closed access to that rocky area where she was washed out to sea.
