Former IDF minister admits Israel is ethnically cleansing Gaza to create Greater Israel

A well-known ex-military politician in Israel is facing criticism after he publicly admitted that Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) are, in fact, committing war crimes, including ethnic cleansing, in the Gaza Strip.

Former Israeli Defense Minister Moshe Ya’alon doubled down on controversial comments he made about Israel troops committing mass genocide in northern Gaza, which is slated for annexation by the Zionist state.

“There is no Beit Lahia’ there is no Beit Hanoun,” Ya’alon said in an interview with Democrat TV. “They are operating in Jabalia and are essentially clearing the area of Arabs.”

“The path we are being dragged down is occupation, annexation and ethnic cleansing in the Gaza Strip – population transfer, call it what you want, and Jewish settlements.”

In other words, everything the “antisemites” have been warning about for the past year concerning Israel’s true intentions and actions in Gaza is coming true thanks to the loose lips of proud Israelis like Ya’alon who casually refers to the mass murder of Palestinian people in Gaza as “clearing the area of Arabs.”

Current Israeli politicians strike back at Ya’alon for spilling the beans

The political establishment in Israel is reportedly horrified at Ya’alon’s admissions. Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar called Ya’alon’s admissions “reckless and irresponsible,” calling on the former army chief to “pull himself together.”

Yoav Gallant, Israel’s now-former defense minister, likewise criticized Ya’alon, who like Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has an arrest warrant from the International Criminal Court (ICC) hanging over him.

Gallant, Netanyahu, and others, including Hamas perpetrators, have all been found guilty by the ICC off committing war crimes in Gaza.

“Ya’alon’s words are lies that help our enemy and harm Israel,” Gallant frantically wrote on social media to try to distract from Ya’alon’s shocking admissions.

“I suggest Ya’alon learn the facts, retract his statement, and apologize to IDF (Israeli army) fighters.”

Ya’alon responded to this by doubling down on his original statements, which he says he made based on credible information from commanders in the field. Ya’alon reiterated his position that the IDF is committing genocide in Gaza, not just by directly targeting the Palestinian people with attacks but also by blocking medical teams and other aid from entering the besieged enclave.

According to Israel, its questionable and controversial actions particularly in northern Gaza right now are necessary to prevent Hamas from regrouping there. Critics, however, say this is just an excuse to commit genocide.

Since the start of the 14-month (and counting) war, Israel has killed at least 45,000 Palestinian civilians, most of them, around 70 percent, being women and children. Another 10,000 Palestinian civilians are missing and presumed to be dead under all the rubble.

Israel is making a lot of money from all this killing, mind you. And that same genocide-for-cash model is being exported the world over so Israel can rake in even more cash.

“Palestinians are not only dehumanised and dominated by Israel’s political and military establishment, but their oppression is also turned into a profit-making venture,” says Middle East Eye‘s Hamza Yusuf.

“Israel has effectively exported its occupation, marketing its supposed military innovations – developed and tested on Palestinians – to a global audience.”

A special United Nations (UN) committee has determined that what Israel is doing in Gaza, as well as the policies that back it, are “consistent with the characteristics of genocide.”

“Israeli officials have openly outlined their strategic objectives, including occupation, annexation, and reducing Gaza to rubble,” Yusuf says. “These actions, in their unparalleled horror, are not merely acts of war, but also serve as an avenue for Israel to flaunt on the world stage its military prowess.”
