Democrats are elitist snobs who care nothing about the problems of ordinary people, that’s the takeaway from last month’s election in which Americans overwhelmingly voted to send President-elect Donald J. Trump back to Washington, D.C. to fix things.
The Biden-Harris era has seen a period of prolonged inflation, especially when it comes to grocery prices with people getting a reminder of Democrat failures every time that they’re at the check stand, and the election was at least in part a national referendum on their policies.
But they haven’t learned anything as evidenced by a since-deleted post to X by Democrats on the House Ways and Means Committee which mocked suffering Americans, another kick in the teeth from the party of the rich and famous that sneers down at the little people and the kitchen table issues that impact their lives.

“And here we were thinking y’all couldn’t afford eggs!” House Dems wrote, sharing a post from a user who oozed derision over a USA Today report that Americans spent a record $10.8 billion online on Black Friday.
“Record air travel, holiday shopping busting records, stock market at all-time highs. The economy ‘is the worst ever,’ some Pollyannas whine,” the user wrote, apparently still whining that Democrats lost the election because of “Bidenomics” and Americans voting for change.
The post may have been deleted, but the internet is forever.

“Democrats deleted this tweet,” said House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) who shared a preserved screenshot of the House Dems’ post. “Americans have been struggling for FOUR YEARS to afford basic necessities and House Democrats are mocking them. Talk about your all-time out of touch, disgraceful comments.”
GOP Ways and Means Committee member Rep. Claudia Tenney (R-NY) also shared the deleted post, adding a nursery rhyme to mock the Dems.

“The Kansans I represent have struggled under Democrat policies for the last 4 years. Prices are historically high and credit card debt hit an unprecedented $1.17 trillion,” wrote Rep. Ron Estes (R-KS) who also shared the tone-deaf Dem tweet.

It wasn’t just Republicans. The far-left group Justice Democrats which supports “Squad” members including Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) also slammed the elitist attitude of House Democrats.
The Democratic leader of the Ways and Means Committee was once the number one recipient of corporate PAC donations.
Democrats have an elitism problem and the call is coming from inside the house—time to clean out the millionaires from Congress. https://t.co/ksvpbYW5WG

“The Democratic leader of the Ways and Means Committee was once the number one recipient of corporate PAC donations,” the group said, referring to House Ways and Means Committee ranking member Rep. Richard Neal (D-MA). “Democrats have an elitism problem and the call is coming from inside the house—time to clean out the millionaires from Congress.”
“They never learn,” wrote GOP House Majority Whip Tom Emmer (R-MN), sharing the post before it was deleted.
