Radio host Charlamagne tha God dropped by The View on Wednesday and mixed it up with Whoopi and the crew over Democrats’ supposed “moral high ground.”

The conversation got heated while discussing Joe Biden’s pardon of son Hunter. Is criticism of Joe’s decision to bail out his son after saying he wouldn’t valid? Charlamagne argued it is.

“The criticism is valid because you know, Democrats stand on this moral high ground all the time and they act so self-righteous,” Charlamagne said. “The reality is, he didn’t have to say anything in regard to whether or not his son wanted to be pardoned. He couldn’t said ‘hey man, I’m not focused on that right now.’ But since they’re calling a threat to democracy and they were saying ‘nobody is above the law,’ but they were speaking about him. That’s what they were running on … [Biden] didn’t believe that. He didn’t have to volunteer that lie to begin with.”

“I’m gonna stop you for a second, only because you don’t know that it was a lie. We don’t know why he changed his mind,” co-host Whoopi Goldberg interjected. “I’m gonna tell you what I think. I think he changed his mind because he got sick of watching everybody else get over. And this is just my feeling, because at some point you just get to the place where you go ‘so I’m just gonna follow the straight arrow always, because that’s what’s expected of Democrats.’”
