Perhaps, Meghan McCain should have sat this one out?
The daughter of the late Sen. John McCain, who was the 2008 Republican presidential nominee, weighed in on President Joe Biden’s blanket pardon of his son Hunter Biden for any and all “offenses against the United States which he has committed or may have committed or taken part in during the period from January 1, 2014 through December 1, 2024.”
McCain may have had the right sentiment, but she pushed a little too far in calling Hunter Biden a “nepo baby,” considering her father is her only claim to fame.
“No one is above the law except the Presidents nepo baby is a helluva parting message for democrats…,” she posted on X.

Much of the criticism came from the left, of course, from some of the same people who hailed the 82-year-old president for being so principled when he repeatedly lied to the American people by insisting he would not pardon his son — on that note, expect a late pardon for brother James Biden before the president turns in the keys to the White House.
As one social media user noted, the left is only too eager to pounce on her post as a distraction from the lawlessness that defines the Biden crime family:
The best part about the democrats losing their shit over Meghan’s tweet is that nobody is arguing against what she said, they’re just pissed off and calling her a nepo baby as well. https://t.co/F0PWwVY9db

As for distractions, here’s a quick sampling of other responses to the story, as seen on the social media platform X:
Meghan McCain – Meghan *McCain* – is calling Hunter Biden a ‘nepo baby scumbag’. You can’t make this stuff up. https://t.co/j5ICxxcJHb

Said the nepo baby. Face it Meghan no one would have a clue who you are if it wasn’t for your last name. It certainly isn’t your talent, or lack of, that got you in the news.

Do you remember Joe Biden holding you on The View as you cried? I do.

Do you think your dad would have done the same for you?

Meghan, your claim to fame is being the daughter of an American hero, patriot, and relatively well liked politician. Maybe sit this one out?
