As President Joe Biden broadcasted to the entire nation with his Sunday night pardon of son Hunter, the Biden family could not care less what the American people think of them.

Another example of just how tone-deaf this administration is, First Lady Jill Biden unveiled this year’s White House Christmas tree, which was billed as one of the surviving trees from storm-ravaged Western North Carolina.

The 20-foot Fraser fir was from a family that has been growing Christmas trees in the region for more than six decades.

“This beautiful Fraser fir was grown at Cartner’s Christmas Tree Farm, where the Cartner family has been growing trees for more than 60 years,” Mrs. Biden said last week. “Their farm is nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina, a region that was recently devastated by Hurricane Helene.”

“The Cartner family lost thousands of trees to the storm. But this one remained standing,” she continued. “And they named it ‘Tree-mendous’ for the extraordinary hope that it represents.”

The sad irony here is that there are residents in that region who are still without water and power today. Some of those residents, who are overwhelmingly Trump voters, are still living in tents and campers as winter settles in.

And the Biden administration has shown little interest in their plight, not that the first lady is above exploiting their tragedy to look good. And the media can be counted on to elevate her self-righteousness, as ABC News showcased above.

Social media users eviscerated the Bidens for their obtuse insensitivity, with many more than ready to say good riddance as the clock runs out on the family.
