Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, who, as we reported, was busy dancing happily at a Taylor Swift concert Friday night as pro-Hamas forces rioted on the streets of Montreal, said at a Thursday press conference Thursday that he would have Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu arrested if the premier arrived on Canadian soil.

As Tim Walz might say, the guy is just plain “weird.”
His comments come after the ICC embarrassed themselves by issuing arrest warrants for Netanyahu as he is engaged in a fight for the survival of Israel against permanent aggressors Hamas, Hezbollah, and Iran. RedState’s Streiff reported:
The International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants Thursday for Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant, along with the top surviving Hamas military leader Mohammed Deif. Deif is accused of masterminding the October 7, 2023, attack that kicked off a general war in Gaza and southern Lebanon. Netanyahu and Gallant are charged with “war crimes and crimes against humanity during the Israeli offensive in the Gaza Strip, including the use of starvation as a weapon and directing attacks against civilians.”
Always one to take a bow for globalism, Trudeau quickly jumped on board:
“First of all, as Canada has always said, it’s really important that everyone abide by international law,” Trudeau said. “This is something we’ve been calling on from the beginning of the conflict. We are one of the founding members of the International Criminal Court and International Court of Justice.”
Both the ICC and the ICJ are located in The Hague, although the justice court is a body of the United Nations and the criminal court is a stand-alone body. The ICC issued warrants on Thursday for Netanyahu and Yoav Gallant, the former Israeli defense minister, among others.
“We stand up for international law, and we will abide by all the regulations and rulings of the international courts,” Trudeau added. “This is just who we are as Canadians.”

Trudeau took a beating on social media for siding with terrorists instead of allies:
Disgraceful comments today from Justin Trudeau suggesting Canadian authorities would arrest Israeli PM Netanyahu.
This ill-considered endorsement of the ICC’s politically motivated actions is a slap in the face to our ally and to every innocent Israeli still being held hostage.… pic.twitter.com/isOUASjY6Y

We stand with the people of Israel and support their right to self-defense against terrorism. The actions taken by both the ICC and Justin Trudeau should be condemned as a dangerous precedent that threatens global stability and the principles of international law.
Conservative Leader and possible future prime minister Pierre Poilievre weighed in:
Poilievre says Trudeau’s support for enforcing an ICC arrest warrant on Canadian soil of Israeli PM Netanyahu is shows he’s “radical” and “woke.”
“He wants to lock up the leaders of democratically elected countries, it’s no wonder (he’s) seen as a joke on the world stage.”… pic.twitter.com/7WA9LKAzz7

Trudeau has basically become the Kamala Harris of Canada, with the difference being that he won the top job. His expiration date has long passed, and it’s clear that Canada needs a leader with a clue.
