It’s not complicated, a lot of the lefties in our society are just anti-Christian. Point blank.
Denise Kendrick was the latest to discover the wrath of the Tolerant Left™ when she decided to express her Christian beliefs in a way she thought was consistent with company policy.
You see, the Fargo, North Dakota, Target employee saw her coworkers wearing rainbow flags and other religious symbols on their uniforms and decided that she’d show off her own faith.
With this:
Denise wrote “Trust in Jesus” on her name tag and — you guessed it — was fired for her trouble.
Kendrick told KVLY-TV that a manager approached her and informed her that she ‘can’t wear that name tag.’
…
Kendrick noted in a video on her YouTube channel, ‘For several months, I had been wearing my red T-shirts that I ordered myself, my Christian red T-shirts, OK. I didn’t wear the he/she/they/whatever T-shirts that Target supplied. I wore my own and never had any problem the whole entire time that I worked there.’
But the name tag apparently crossed a line with her manager. And when she said she wouldn’t be held to a different standard than her Pride-promoting coworkers, she was fired.
Denise believes a member of the rainbow mafia complained to management, leading to her termination.
However, the story doesn’t end there. Kendrick was vindicated earlier this week.
On Tuesday, a spokesman said in a statement obtained by KVLY, ‘Upon learning of the situation, we conducted a review and determined that the team member should not have been terminated. We apologized to her and offered to reinstate her immediately.’
‘We are taking the appropriate steps to address the actions taken by the individual leader involved in this situation and are working with the store to ensure our policies are appropriately followed moving forward,’ added the spokesman.
Glad to see that simply pushing back and standing your ground as Kendrick did in this circumstance has lead to a happy ending.
