Now I have to say, sometimes “The View” is unintentionally very funny.
On Thursday, they were attacking social media over “misinformation.” That’s when Joy Behar opined on why she said people liked their show.

🚨 This clip is unhinged. Joy Behar is saying that Joe Rogan believes in dragons and you should listen to The View because they are truthful and fact checked by ABC. pic.twitter.com/A8zmDeqZgh

“I think that that’s why people like our show, because they know that we are checked by ABC News,” Behar said.
“If we’re wrong, we have the legal note here,” she claimed, pointing to Sunny Houston, who is both a lawyer and who has had to read multiple legal notes to “clarify” things that they’ve said.
Behar went on to claim, “We went from Walter Cronkite to this guy, Joe Rogan, who believes in dragons.”
She insisted she’d “checked it” and that “he also believes that dragons, I dunno, like dinosaur-y type of animals, roamed the Earth when people did.”
Now, that’s all pretty funny because people are constantly laughing at their show for how wrong they so often are, and if anyone is relying on their show for actual news, they are seriously in the wrong place. If they’re “checked by ABC News,” that doesn’t say a lot for ABC News.

But if people watching shows are evidence of anything, as Behar seems to think, Rogan has far more viewers than “The View.” “The View” has about 2.4 million viewers on average. Meanwhile, Rogan pulls in about 14.5 million on average. So if that’s a judgment, Rogan beats “The View” hands down.
Rogan had a show where they spoke about the possibility of “dragons,” where Rogan talked about there being common myths about dragons in different cultures and the possibility of something like a pterodactyl type of thing surviving. He was not saying that fire-breathing dragons existed.
But Rogan clearly thought the attack was hilarious because he changed his X profile to “Dragon Believer,” saying that was his “new official X description,” and started posting about dragons in his timeline and on the various Rogan podcast accounts.

They also had a little fun adding in chickens to the clip from “The View.”
