UFC CEO Dana White has had his fill of politics and after playing a leading role in helping elect pal Donald Trump to a second term as president, White sent a clear message to any future political suitors that he wants “nothing to do with politics.”

White spoke with the New Yorker at Saturday’s UFC 309 match at Madison Square Garden, where he entered the arena with President-elect Trump and a number of people in his inner circle, including Elon Musk, telling the magazine he will never work on a campaign again — it helps that Trump will not be running again.

“I’m never f–king doing this again,” White said. “I want nothing to do with this sh–t. It’s gross. It’s disgusting. I want nothing to do with politics.”

He repeated a similar message in the interview below, saying politics is more disgusting than the fight game.

“I’m in the fight business, the dirtiest, nastiest business,” White said. “Politics? It’s disgusting, and I want nothing to do with it.”

Politics today comes with full-on character assassinations, personal attacks on family members, including minor children, and an effort to not only defeat an opponent but to destroy them and even imprison them if possible. Grifting outfits like the Lincoln Project epitomize just how low and sleazy people are willing to be in exchange for a few coins.

White’s efforts to boost Trump included speaking at the Republican National Convention in July, where he offered a resounding endorsement from the stage. But that effort was reportedly driven by loyalty to his friend of 25 years.

“Donald Trump is tougher and more badass than anybody,” White told the New Yorker, before bringing up the first failed assassination attempt on Trump. “You can only pray that you’re a quarter of the man that Donald Trump was when a guy tried to take seven shots at his head with a high-powered rifle with a f–king scope on it.”
