After the public relations disaster of teaming up with trans activist Dylan Mulvaney, Bud Light’s latest commercial may just help them woo back customers.

The ad is titled “Wrong Commercial” and features comedian Shane Gillis posing as a normal dude who was hired for a beer commercial at a bar. At the same time, an overly-dramatic perfume ad is being filmed which has Gillis confused, especially when a man playing a guitar tries to hand him some sand from his pocket. At that point, Gillis suggests he might be in the wrong commercial.

The ad is funny, clever, and exactly what one would expect from a company trying to appeal to a wide audience. This is the second commercial they’ve released with Gillis, likely showing they are attempting to put the Mulvaney controversy in the rearview mirror and move forward with what Americans really want.
