It’s like Christmas every day for conservatives ever since Donald Trump won a second trip to the White House just over two, short weeks ago. If it’s not Democrats forming a circular firing squad over what went wrong on November 5th, it’s the corporate media in total free fall over the complete and utter rejection by American voters of the false narratives pushed for years by leftist “reporters” and “journalists.”

Frankly, it’s been delicious to watch.

The insanity, as ever, has been particularly concentrated in minds of the gals over at “The View.” They are incensed that their girl Kamala lost to Trump, and they don’t even have the tiniest of clues that they and their partisan gabfests played a part in her defeat.

Not ones to give in to moments of self-reflection, the activists at “The View” mistook Trump’s win as a mandate for them to continue harping on about those mean, old Republicans. Except, things have changed. Republicans, conservatives, and just plain old Americans have had enough and are pushing back in ways that are making Joy Behar’s head spin so fast that her wig flies off.

RedState’s Bonchie reported Wednesday about “The View” getting slapped down for remarks they made about then-Attorney General nominee Matt Gaetz, with (not so) Sunny Hostin having to read a “legal note” correcting their comments. Basically, the ladies seemed to be treating rumor as fact, and the legal department at ABC could see the trouble coming its way. If you want to see the sourest look in the history of sour looks, click through to Bonchie’s story and behold Sunny Hostin’s face.

Or, you could stay here and see her have to DO IT ALL OVER AGAIN, this time for disparaging both Matt Gaetz and Pete Hegseth:

Here’s every glorious word:

Matt Gaetz has long denied all allegations and has not been charged with any crime. Gaetz previously dismissed allegations that he paid for sex, saying, “Someone is trying recategorize my generosity to ex-girlfriends as something untoward.

Another legal note, Pete Hegseth lawyers said he paid the woman in 2023 to head off the treat of a baseless lawsuit. He has denied any wrongdoing

The producers played music over the statement, and the sheep in the studio audience laughed on cue, but that didn’t diminish from the gloriousness of watching these broads have to eat crow. They never learn, do they? Also, who actually tunes into this dreck has always been the great, unanswered question.

You might get sick of us saying it here at RedState, but this is the way. Republicans need to (metaphorically) put their boots right on the necks of these spewers of hate and lies … repeatedly and often. Make them choke on their own words, make them read legal statements, make them go on record over and over with their silly narratives.

It’s not clear if lawyers for Matt Gaetz and Pete Hegseth threatened legal action or if ABC News execs are just trying to stave off legal trouble, but it doesn’t really matter. Play the game, engage in the fight, and keep on winning.
