“I was thinking about this from the thought exercise, where I’m like… cuz I know these units. I’m intimately familiar with them,” Hafer says at the beginning of the clip. “Bro, if we declare war on the cartel, these dudes are not gonna understand what the f**k is going on.”
“No of course not,” Rogan concurred. “You’ll stop the distribution.”
“They are in for a world of ultra-violence they’ve never actually felt before, because this is obviously a very capable, ultra-violent organization and they have f**king no clue if we organize these Tier 1 units against them, this is gonna be… what I would be doing if I was down there … I would be getting ready to retire right now because if Delta Force is hunting me, bro I would be so terrified,” Hafer continued.
“Is that a real thing that they’ve proposed doing?” Rogan asked.
“Yes, that is a real thing,” the veteran confirmed.
“Who proposed that?” the host wondered.
“I’m almost positive either [Vice President-elect] JD [Vance] or Trump said something with the new guy from ICE, like ‘we’re gonna mobilize Tier 1 units against the cartel,’” Hafer explained. “The only thing I thought was retire if you guys got some money man I would like put that away, maybe move. Jamaica.”
“Open a restaurant,” Rogan chimed in.
