If you don’t watch ABC News, you may need help identifying the gentleman whom Rep. Nancy Mace bludgeons on the issue of men using the ladies’ congressional bathrooms. His name is Jay O’Brien. O’Brien identifies as an Emmy Award-winning reporter currently covering Capitol Hill, where he has been since the November midterms. He’s covered notable stories, such as the transition of power to Republicans in the House. Speaking of trans…

In this highly entertaining video O’Brien races to Mace. He quizzes her over her demand to keep the men out of the ladies’ bathrooms, even if they are pretending to be women. I would like to ask O’Brien about the respect due women’s right to privacy. ABC News calls it “a bathroom ban” applicable to “what [Mace] says [sic] are biological men.” Sounds bad!

Among other things, Mace takes the position that it’s not okay “for a penis to be in a woman’s locker room or a bathroom or a changing room.” Rep. Mace, keep it up (so to speak). In the eyes of ABC News, it’s a controversial position.

The primary definition of a mace is “a heavy often spiked staff or club used especially in the Middle Ages for breaking armor” or “a club used as a weapon.” Mace lives up to her name as she beats down O’Brien. I have posted the full video clip below.
