It may be highly advisable for malicious actor Liz Cheney to seriously consider a change of address, as in a country with no U.S. extradition treaty.
A top national security lawyer is advising his clients that it may be in their best interests to be out of the country come January 20, 2025, the day that President-elect Donald J. Trump will be inaugurated.
With Trump will come a change in management at the Department of Justice and the likely investigations of those who abused their power and influence to twist the legal system into knots to prevent the soon-to-be 47th president from taking office again.
They failed massively and now could be held accountable for their misdeeds.
My interview with @Politico of what may transpire in the second #Trump Administration. Maybe it won’t be as bad as some fear but don’t be foolish not to be prepared. https://t.co/Nwk6CNGYFY

In an interview with Politico, Mark Zaid who has represented several government whistleblowers as well as a member of the 1960s band The Monkees in a lawsuit against the FBI, said that he has told clients who may be targets of the Trump administration to “take a vacation” in mid-January just to be on the safe side.
“There are a small number of people who I have told, ‘Look, you should take a vacation outside of the country around the time of inauguration, just to see what happens. Just go on a routine vacation and see what plays out come Jan. 20, 21st, 22nd,’” Zaid told the outlet. “By that time, we’ll know who’s going to be [in senior administration roles] and whether they will be more fundamentalist about this issue than the general politician who’s appointed into a position that requires Senate confirmation.”
Zaid doesn’t think that current members of Congress could be in peril because GOP lawmakers “are not going to want to see that,” but he did mention a handful of names who may want to get out while the getting’s good.
“Look, you don’t have to be an expert in the intelligence community to know who would face things — people like John Brennan, Jim Clapper, maybe Liz Cheney,” he said, referring to the disgraced former J6 committee vice chair and top Kamala Harris surrogate as well as two of Barack Obama’s top thugs.
“So just think about a situation where the new CIA director could be someone like Kash Patel who says, ‘Hey, by the way, John Brennan, when you appeared on CNN on Oct. 29, 2023, what you said was classified and you are going to be prosecuted under the Espionage Act,’” Zaid added. “Is that going to happen? I have no idea. I would hope not, but depending on who is put into power in the Justice Department, in the U.S. Attorney’s Office, at the CIA, as the Director of National Intelligence — the law would allow that.”
Trump has previously suggested that the J6 committee members should be jailed, especially Cheney.
She should go to Jail along with the rest of the Unselect Committee!

There’s a good reason why Cheney put it all on the line to get Kamala elected, a sense of self-preservation.
With the worm having turned on the lawfare gang, business is booming for criminal defense attorneys in the vicinity of the Beltway.
