Rep. Nancy Mace (R-SC) unveiled a resolution that will keep men out of women’s bathrooms on Capitol Hill.
In an attempt to give some women the peace of mind of having their private spaces remain private, Mace is pushing to ban biological men from using female bathrooms.
“Biological men in women’s restrooms is a complete invasion of our privacy,” she wrote in an X post on the legislation.

Members of the House and employees would be prohibited from using bathrooms, locker rooms, and changing rooms that do not align with their biological gender on Capitol Hill and in House offices. Mace remarked on how her stance has made her a target for identity politics-obsessed leftists.
“This is so strange to me. 25 years ago I was celebrated as the first woman to graduate from a formerly all-male military college. Today I’m being attacked as a ‘bigot’ for fighting for women’s rights. The radical Left has lost its mind,” she wrote.

Podcaster Megyn Kelly argued the point further, asking why any woman should be forced to share their private spaces “with a man pretending to be a woman.”
Why should @NancyMace or any other female member of Congress/staff have to share their bathroom with a man pretending to be a woman? It’s NOT about the feelings of the man masquerading as a fake woman. It’s about not forcing actual women to have to worry that a man is in their…

“Why should [Nancy Mace] or any other female member of Congress/staff have to share their bathroom with a man pretending to be a woman? It’s NOT about the feelings of the man masquerading as a fake woman. It’s about not forcing actual women to have to worry that a man is in their bathroom where they are vulnerable (and which is supposed to be a safe, private, female-only space). Members should STAND UP FOR WOMEN’S RIGHTS and not be cowed by empty claims of ‘bullying.’ WOMEN are the ones being bullied into submission,” she posted.
The resolution received support on social media:
We need more Warriors for Women like Nancy Mace!

I truly don’t understand how we allowed this to happen. To hear that some teenage girls refuse to drink fluids during the day to avoid the restroom at school because boys are in there is outrageous. It is beyond an invasion of privacy.

Democrat women would be more outraged by sharing a bathroom with a woman wearing a MAGA hat than with a man in a dress.

Women fighting for their rights are now being attacked as “monsters.” The radical Left has lost it.

Any man who uses a woman’s bathroom needs to be arrested.
It’s especially ridiculous when members of Congress have their own private bathrooms.
Nancy Mace is right to raise this issue now that Democrats are electing men who masquerade as women.
