Republican Dave McCormick won the Pennsylvania Senate contest in which he challenged incumbent Democrat nullity Bob Casey. The AP has called the contest for McCormick, but the narrow margin of McCormick’s victory has triggered a mandatory recount that Casey stands no chance of winning honestly.
Casey has the Russia hoaxer cutout Marc Elias on board to help Casey steal the election via illegal ballots. Four counties signed up for the job notwithstanding the Pennsylvania Supreme Court order to the contrary. This afternoon the Pennsylvania Supreme Court has interceded with an order telling the counties to knock it off (emphasis in original:
The Court hereby ASSUMES its King’s Bench authority … only to DIRECT that all Respondents, including the Boards of Elections in Bucks County, Montgomery County, and Philadelphia County, SHALL COMPLY with the prior rulings of this Court in which we have clarified that mail-in and absentee ballots that fail to comply with the requirements of the Pennsylvania Election Code …. SHALL NOT BE COUNTED for purposes of the election held on November 5, 2024.
Casey’s strongest card — in my opinion, his only card — is his good name. He did nothing to earn it and he is now doing his best to sully it on his way out the door.
I should think the risk of being held in contempt might bring the resistant county commissioners into line. The court has in any event ordered the stopping of the steal.

More here.
The ruling was 4-3, with Justices Kevin Brobson (R), Sallie Updyke Mundy (R), Kevin Dougherty (D) and David Wecht (D) ruling against counting the faultily dated ballots. In two concurring statements, they seemed big mad at the counties for even considering counting them. https://t.co/PVj4P9isD7 pic.twitter.com/FB0vgvQw1F
