Actor Alec Baldwin was raked over the coals after his “shameful” impersonation of Robert F. Kennedy Jr. during the cold open on “Saturday Night Live.”
The 66-year-old “Rust” star earned the disdain and criticism of viewers who were not impressed with his mocking portrayal of RFK Jr., taking on a raspy voice to poke at the 70-year-old member of the iconic Democrat family. Kennedy’s vocals are caused by a neurological condition and Baldwin’s mockery did not go over well at all.

In the sketch, James Austin Johnson played President-elect Donald Trump meeting with President Joe Biden, who was played by former “SNL” cast member Dana Carvey. The two were speaking of Trump’s recent Cabinet picks, with Kennedy being tapped to lead the Department of Health and Human Services.
“I’m so honored to be the head of the Department of Health and Human Services. Americans need someone to teach them how to be healthy, like me, a 70-year-old man with movie star looks and a worm in his brain,” Baldwin, portraying Kennedy for the first time, said in the skit in a shaky voice.
Alec Baldwin’s impersonation of RFK on SNL is the worst thing he’s done in front of a camera.
Yes, that includes shooting two people on Rust.

Baldwin was also roasted for having his fly open at the end of the show.

But his attempt at impersonating Kennedy is what earned him brutal backlash.

Last night, SNL thought it a good idea to have RFK’s close friend Alec Baldwin, who has no conscious, do a bad impression of his disability. It was neither funny or good.
Baldwin shot dead a young Ukrainian cinematographer/mother & wife in her chest & never apologized.
