Former Clinton strategist James Carville, who was previously “optimistic” about the election, has now turned on his own party following Kamala Harris’s devasting loss to Donald Trump.
Carville is so angry that he’s actually begun to speak sense.
He is now laying blame on liberal elitists in the Democrat party for being unable to read the room ahead of the election, which ultimately resulted in their defeat.
Carville says a “misguided embrace of identity politics” was the catalyst that broke the Democrat Party.
He said:
“What you’ve done ain’t worth a s**t. Get your head around that.”
“And all of the Washington-based Democrats farting around, going to wine and cheese parties, and talking about how misogynistic the race is—get your ass out of Washington, and go work on a 2026 campaign and do penance to make up for your goddamn arrogance and stupidity.”
He continued:
“We’re going to say we told you so. We told you this identity s**t was disaster. We told you to get out in front of public safety issues. You didn’t.”
Further venting his frustration, Caeville called the Democrats’ embrace of “Defund the Police” and similar ideas part of a “stupid God damn identitarian mission.”
He really is beginning to speak sense.
“The entire era of Jackassery,” he declared.
We agree, Carville.
As Trump and MAGA Republicans have been saying for years, Democrats are out of touch with average Americans.
Why did it take a catastrophic election loss for Carville to see the writing on the wall?
Perhaps Carville’s remarks signal a growing trend among long-time Democrats who are finally realizing that nobody wants wokesim, as we’ve now seen with Trump’s victory.
Watch
We can only expect more of the same “blame game” tactics to emerge from Democrats ahead of Trump inauguration next year.
Maybe instead of blaming each other, they should start listening to the American people next time around.
